Values

Worship is a fundamental part of the Christian life. Thenborn seeks to reflect and promote this not only through music, but also as a daily uncompromising walk of faith. As children of God, saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we have the priviledge of being able to enter the very Throne room of God (Hebrews 10:19,22) - a place where we can participate in a close and personal relationship with our Maker.

Life is a journey, and of course it's not always easy. Yet we are called to worship God in every circumstance - no matter how good or bad the road might seem. Our songs reflect that same journey: high places... low places... places in-between... The one constant fact, however, is that God remains at our side every step:

"Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast."

Psalm 139:7-10

Though the world and everything in it can seem out of control at times, there is real peace, security and hope in knowing and relating with a God that has the full power and authority, yet loves us and cares for us completely.
